AWARENESS MONTH

OCTOBER IS PREGNANCY & INFANT LOSS AWARENESS MONTH

On October 15th, participate in the International Wave of Light by lighting a candle at 7:00 pm local time to honor all babies gone too soon. Keep your candle lit for at least one hour to create a continuous “Wave of Light” across all time zones covering the entire globe! If you know of anyone who has experienced a loss, please join us in remembering and honoring their babies. Wave of Light is an opportunity to gather with bereaved parents, families and friends around the globe to commemorate all babies who died too soon. Join us virtually or in person in a global ‘Wave of Light’ ceremony on the beach in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time.

Wave of Light 2022

Wave of Light 🕯 2022 was a special ceremony to honor our babies. Wave of Light is an opportunity to gather with bereaved parents, families and friends around the globe to commemorate all babies who died too soon. Save the date to join us virtually or in person in a global ‘Wave of Light’ ceremony in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time.

Being part of a community Star Legacy Foundation – San Francisco Chapter & Star Legacy Foundation who understands what you are going through, finding a way together to heal, and also to bring awareness in the fight against Pregnancy and Infant Loss means a lot. This was emotional for all the families. Having support from family and friends, makes these moments even more special. We must continue the work to fight to end preventable stillbirth, infant loss and pregnancy loss. I will continue to be an advocate for LaSaaun Lives Foundation, that was my promise to him. Never being still in the work to help other families heal from this tragedy. Your support is needed. Tap in to get involved. Thank you London Breed and City Hall for a beautiful display in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
